Here are before and after photos from my 3rd TCA chemical peel. This peel was 25% solution that I worked up to over a series of months. I started at 12.5 and also did glycolic 35% and Retin-A .001 in between.
I think I can see more of a difference now than in any of my earlier peels, so I have hope that continuing this will be even better. What do you think? You can click on the pictures to see more detail.

I am planning to start back on Retin-A this week, and I will do a partial peel again later this month, only on trouble areas. I will post again then.
are you a LICENSED Esthetician?
ReplyDeleteNope. I'm a public school teacher.
ReplyDeleteA public school teacher with AMAZING skin! =)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work. I am getting ready to do my 21% TCA in sections. September blog entry:
"My first facial 25% TCA Chemical Peel section took about 3 days from application to peel off, so I’m planning to do my next section the morning of 9/25, this Saturday, since I know that I should peel the evening of the 27th --and my skin should look about normal the morning of the 28th."
Along with the glycolic on the other sections. Following this blog very closely and can't wait.
Thanks again.
Barbara
Thanks! You're too sweet Barbara. Are you going to share some pix?
ReplyDeleteI will def consider that when I am ready to do an all over peel. Before and after. Without makeup before and with makeup after healing.
ReplyDeleteIt will be sometime. I just finished chin peeling and am ready for next section Sunday. Still doing glycolic too.
I will get the assistance of my daughter and her mad pic taking skills. Maybe some of me with my face up against the fan for awhile, too! lol.
Barbara, How's the peeling going?
ReplyDeleteHi Gabi-
ReplyDeleteCompleted all over 18% on the 6th and today (Tues-8th) I am leathery. Apply moisturizer.
Should have taken pics, there were some frost areas, red spots. Very shiny. But daughter took off with camera to super bowl thing.
I have ordered three bottles of 35, 50 and 100% tca and can't wait to use on arms/hands and some moles on legs!
Thank you so much for this!
Barb, congrats on making the leap from glycolic. You did a great job working up to the TCA...I know it was hard waiting it out. Yes, I wish you'd taken pics; sometimes it's hard for me to see a change without them. Thanks for sharing!
