Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are categorized as light, medium, and deep.  The light peels can be used with little or no downtime and include alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta hydroxy acids (BHA) as well as some enzyme peels.  Medium peels include trichloroacetic acid (TCA), and deep chemical peels include substances such as phenol.

I will discuss all three categories of peels as I learn which peel(s) I should use for myself.
